It has been a long time since I last played a VR porn game. So when I received an early copy of LoveXLust, a brand new porn VR game by EdenXverse, I was excited to immerse myself in the virtual world of pleasure and picado?
So yeah, it was time to dust off my VR headset and see what the newer VR games have to offer, especially as there is not an abundance of them on the market.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD PORN VR GAME?
Now, VR games are a bit different when compared to regular games that I and most of you usually play. In order for them to be considered competitive and especially immersive, they need to have:
Good VR graphics and animations:
High-quality, almost realistic graphics and animations enhance the immersive nature of the VR experience. Detailed character models, environments, and smooth animations contribute to a more lifelike and engaging game. The game also needs to be careful not to have too high of a minimum PC requirement; otherwise, it will limit the number of players that will be able to run the game smoothly.
Now LoveXLust is made with Unreal Engine, so this is as good as it gets currently when talking about the graphics within the VR. I don’t really have any complaints there. The graphics were smooth, and the models were carefully crafted, with several unique options when it comes to model design, including male and futa/trans options.
The locations are also varied, so you will have plenty to choose from. You can even earn your Mile High Club badge. Although I wish the bathrooms on planes would be as big as they are in the game, when talking about the animations, as this is an unreal game, everything is animated; there really are no major static elements within the game.
Optimized Performance:
Optimization is crucial for a smooth VR experience. Consistent frame rates, minimal latency, and overall performance optimization are essential, and this is why this is at the top of the list here. LoveXLust had no issue on my system and the highest graphic settings.

CPU: AMD 3900x
GPU: AMD RX 6800XT
There was no lag, no bugs, the game loaded up pretty fast, and the gameplay was smooth without any FPS drops.
Interactions and Sex:
This is a big one. VR is all about immersion, so providing a good set of interactions and choices allows players to feel more in control of their experience. LoveXLust fares quite well when it comes to the way you can interact with the model of your choice. Touching, or better yet, slapping, is quite possible. You can, in a limited way, even change the position of the model; for instance, push the head down, if you know what I mean.
LoveXLust, being a sex simulator, is all about the lewd stuff. Not only are there several characters you can choose to have sex with, but there are a ton of different sex positions you can do it in. The fun part here is that, as you can move around freely, the positions can get quite interesting. For instance, you can do it doggy style or move around in front for some blowjob action. The game also offers the use of sex toys that you can use within the sex act. There are a number of those available, but if you prefer the good old fingering technique, you can also do that.
To get new content unlocked, you need credits, and you can get those either by playing the game daily for the daily reward or by playing some of the mini games. For instance, you can throw some darts or spin a wheel of fortune. This worked quite well and added some fun ways to earn credits you need to unlock new content.
Just be careful; don’t gamble all your money away!
Responsive Controls and Freedom of Movement:
The controls in any VR game should be user-friendly, allowing players to navigate and interact with the virtual world seamlessly. And I think LoveXLust does a great job when it comes to the controls. You don’t really need long to understand the basic principles of how things work and what button does what. The movement sensors also did quite a good job when it came to the aspect of “banging.”
Let me just mention that I do recommend a wireless VR headset and getting enough space to move so you don’t smack the monitor instead of that ass.
When it comes to freedom of movement, the game utilizes both the natural movement where you push the joystick on the controller and you “walk in the direction” and the “teleport” approach, where you are instantly “teleported” to a designated point within the place (something similar to what Half Life: Alyx does).
This approach allows the player to move faster across the space and also to move within the desired position, as the developer intended. To move up and down, you can either get up or sit down for real, or you can use the button that will elevate or decrease your position. The elevation was the toughest part for me to get a hold of, and I wish they implemented a more precise way to move up and down as well.
Compelling Storyline:
As with any game, good story-driven content can provide context and purpose to the adult elements of the game. Now, when it comes to LoveXLust, there is no story currently implemented into the game. The game is played more in a sandbox style where you can explore the locations and have sex with various girls, men, and trans characters. LoveXLust is intended to be more of a sex simulator, with a focus on the various sex positions, etc. I don’t see the lack of story as problematic.
We play this for the boobs.
Last but not least, immersive audio:
realistic sound effects and high-quality audio contribute to a more immersive and engaging experience. So I was excited to hear some great music being added to the game.
Some of the music is actually used for a mini-game where you need to have sex to the beat.
What is more important is that the voicing of the characters is on point, with what seems to be several different voice actors voicing them. The voice adds to the immersion, not just with the moaning but also with the occasional teasing lines. BTW, I also think that the British accent is super hot.
So is LoveXLust one of the best VR porn game of 2024?
Well first of and most important, I had fun playing LoveXLust. It made me remember that VR is far from dead and that even we at Spicygaming.net should be more aware of the titles that are entering the VR space. I think having more VR games in adult gaming is a plus, and all such games should be celebrated. LoveXLust offers a different adult gaming experience that can bring you closer to the action than ever before. Even the VR porn videos don’t come close to the freedom of movement and the interactivity.
The game got me back in VR! So I would say for that alone I consider it pretty damn good. It might even tempt me enough to do a best of article about VR games! All in all I really do wish the developers EdenxVerse all the best in developing the title further, as I am looking forward to what comes next from them!
